Just a few hours ago, Amitabh Bachchan’s house in Juhu became the scene of a sort of confrontation between police and FWICE workers

Angry Industry Workers Land Up At Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa
Around 2.30 pm this afternoon, all roads leading to Amitabh Bachchan’s home were jam packed. The reason, some 175-200 members of the Federation Of Western India Cine  Employees (FWICE) had landed up at Bachchan’s doorstep.

Bachchan was aware that they would come and he had arranged for police bandobast to deal with any untoward events that may take place.

A few of the members had to be apprehended by the police as they tried to make their way into Jalsa forcefully.

The members had taken a memorandum letter, to hand deliver it to Bachchan, asking him to use his good office to resolve their ongoing crisis.

But they were not able to meet the superstar and had  to hand over the letter to the police who will hand it over to Amitabh Bachchan.

The FWICE workers have been on strike since August 15.

FWICE is fighting with the Producers’ body to fulfill their demands which includes salary increment, eight-hour shift, accidental and medical insurance. They had went on strike in 2015 too and back then they were given an assurance that their demands would be fulfilled and thus, they called off the strike and went back to work. However, things didn't happen as planned.

The shoot of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Padmavati, Shah Rukh Khan’s next and John Abraham’s Parmanu has been affected by the strike.
